The Hakonechloa (Japanese Forest Grass) in the foreground of this tranquil, Japanese inspired garden sways and whispers with even a gentle breeze. Constructed of tea stained concrete board with bamboo trim the fencing further supports the garden’s style, as do the two limestone slabs that emerge dramatically from the planting to create a weir out of which water tumbles. A further 5-inch think slab of limestone forms a bridge across the pond that provides access to the seating area located at the rear of the property.
